Best Western Hotel Central is situated in the Old Town of this resort, next to the medical centers, a water amusement park, a pedestrian avenue, the M. K. Čiurlionis’ museum, a conference centre, outdoor tennis courts, the city beach and pedestrian and cycling paths — and it is open all year round. The main healing factors of the Druskininkai resort, which have already been known for over 200 years, are the mineral waters similar to those of Baden-Baden (Germany), one of the best curing muds in Europe, and a perfect microclimate.
In 1909, hotel Central was located here, and was managed by the parents of world – famous sculptor Jacques Lipschitz. Later the building was used as the city health centre. In 2007, after complete restoration of the building, the primary purpose of the building and the historical name Central were also restored.
This is a historical hotel with an exceptional interior and exterior in Druskininkai. The solid oak wood furniture, natural materials and reproductions of M.K. Čiurlionis paintings create a special atmosphere in the rooms.
The two-storey mansarded hotel has 36 elegant, modern and light, double and single air–conditioned rooms. In the rooms you will find everything you need for rest or work: a comfortable king–size bed, a convenient bathroom, a hairdryer, a desk, a fridge with a mini bar, and cable television.
